The INDOSOW programme is designed for doctoral students from various social and applied sciences and professions, as well as from different fields of studies in art and humanities. We welcome doctoral students from the European countries, recruited and nominated through the INDOSOW network and from the other countries worldwide. Candidates have to have a demonstrable knowledge of the core concepts used in social and applied science disciplines, especially in the field of social work, policy and welfare. A working knowledge of the basic research questions and methods is also required. They have to show their interest in comparative research and an interest in interdisciplinary approach is welcomed. The programme prioritises prospective students with above average scores, highly motivated for academic research.
